Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Sarasota is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sarasota follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

A dental office that truly cares about its patients. World Class Dentistry consistently goes above and beyond what you would expect from a dental practice. Recently, I developed a dental issue just over a week before traveling to New York for my sonβs wedding. Their team immediately got me in for an appointment, found a solution, and even created a backup plan to ensure I wouldnβt have any problems during such an important event. What touched me most was that they made a custom dental appliance for me over the weekend, even though the office is typically closed. That level of dedication, compassion, and commitment to patient care is rare. Thank you to Dr. Johnson, Dr. Bakke, and Tracy. You are exceptional professionals, but even more importantly, exceptional human beings. I am incredibly grateful for the care and kindness you showed me.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Sydney Johnson at World Class Dentistry. As someone who has always struggled with anxiety around dental visits, this experience was truly different in the best possible way. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely cared forβnot just as a patient, but as a person. Dr. Johnson takes the time to explain everything before she does it, which made such a difference in helping me feel calm and in control. There were no surprises, just clear, gentle communication every step of the way. Ashlyn, her assistant, was equally incredibleβso kind, encouraging, and attentive. Together, they create an atmosphere that is comforting and reassuring, especially for those of us who tend to feel nervous in the chair. What stood out most is how they truly see the whole person. They are patient, compassionate, and incredibly skilled, making what used to be a stressful experience feel safe and even positive. If you have any anxiety about dental procedures, I highly recommend Dr. Johnson, and all of their staff . They are exceptional at what they do and go above and beyond to make sure you feel at ease.

I recently brought my 7 year old son in for a consultation, because we had concerns about his airway and breathing. From the moment we arrived, the experience was excellent. The office completed a full facial X-ray and a comprehensive scan of his entire mouth, which made us feel confident that they were taking a thorough look at everything. Dr. Cameron Johnson took the time to sit with us and carefully walk through all of the scans. He was open, honest, and very clear with his recommendations. I really appreciated his holistic perspective and the way he approached our concerns with both professionalism and kindness. Stacy, the patient treatment facilitator, was also incredibly helpful and kind. She even provided us with notes and a drive containing all of the scans so we could share them with other providers if needed. Overall, the level of care, transparency, and customer service we experienced was outstanding. We left feeling informed, supported, and grateful for the time they took with our family.

I hadnβt been to a dentist in 16 years due to fear, even though Iβm a chiropractic physician intern who takes my health very seriously. I had ongoing concerns about my mercury filling, especially with it starting to crack, which is ultimately what pushed me to finally seek care. Walking into World Class Dentistry was a big step for me, but the experience completely changed my perspective. Dr. Sydney Johnson, DMD, a holistic biological dentist, and her assistants made me feel comfortable and genuinely cared for from the start. I originally had a mercury filling and had her safely remove the mercury amalgam using a safe mercury removal protocol, including the use of dental dams, along with ozone therapy, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. They also guided me on post visit supplementation to support detoxing and chelating any potential metal exposure. Iβve since had a thorough cleaning, including a Cavitron treatment, and was given a non toxic, holistic hydroxyapatite toothpaste recommendation that I now use daily. At my most recent visit, they completed X-rays, a 3D scan, and a CT of my mouth, and I really appreciate that they also use lasers to support tissue healing. The level o
